Visual Acuity

electronic book - Visual Dictionary OnlineI just got an announcement about the Visual Dictionary Online from Merriam-Webster. Always love stuff like this. If you want to know what part of a object is called, you can’t very well look up its name.

I like the entry here for electronic book. It looks like the ol’ eBookwise reader. Not as sexy as a Sony Reader or the Amazon Kindle, but a lot cheaper. I really like that the Visual Dictionary is enabling this blogging feature. Haven’t I said it’s all about open data, making data in one platform available in another? Yes! Yes, I have.
